“I want to be stronger, better, faster!” We’re always wanting to be something -er, especially in our fitness goals. And sometimes we let this -er define us. It can take feelings of positivity and gratitude in our lives and replace it with irrelevant wants and needs. But we are the writers of our own stories, which means we hold the power!
Most of the time, who came up with these -ers that you so desperately want to be? You did! Your own mind told you a story of how you need to be something you aren’t. How rude! And often times these stories don’t actually help us achieve the -ers we’re after. They discourage us and we quit before we even start. But guess what, your mind can just as easily flip the narrative and tell you that you are enough. That you are already stronger, better and faster. So much can be achieved when you believe it to be true. You are the writer, narrator and star of your own academy award winning story and you can do this!
So next time you slip into feelings of wanting to be more than what you already are, remember, when you “think of a wonderful thought, YOU CAN FLY!” Thanks Peter.
